Biography: Eric J. Bolland has twenty years of experience in industry, including working as a marketing manager in high technology firms. He is currently an adjunct professor at Cardinal Stritch University, and has taught at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, School of Business as a lecturer. In addition, he consults in the field of high technology, and has published numerous articles in refereed journals on the subject.
Charles W. Hofer is the Regents Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business. His numerous writings include
Strategic formulation: Analytic Concepts?named in 1992 as one of the five most significant textbooks in strategic management?and articles in the
Harvard Business Review, the
Journal of Business Strategy, and the
Journal of Business Venturing. He is a founding member of the Strategic Management Society, and has consulted with a number of major American corporations. He has also worked for and consulted with several startup ventures.
